What do I need to do to be part of BeRuby.com and earn money?

To register with BeRuby.com you just need to provide your email address, a password and the email address of the friend that invited you. If you prefer, you can designate a non-profit organization to receive part of your earnings from using the BeRuby site.

Your account is immediately activated and you can set BeRuby as your homepage to search the web, check your email or do your shopping. All the logos of the companies that you see in BeRuby take you directly to their internet sites. Remember to use BeRuby as your starting point for every search, purchase, etc., so that you can earn money!

How do I earn money using BeRuby.com?

It’s easy! BeRuby shows you all the companies that pay some kind of a commission when you use their services, or buy from their site. On the BeRuby site, we indicate which companies provide a commission with either one, two or three rubies. Do you use BeRuby? Earn money doing it!

What do I need to do to incude other sites on my homepage?

All the boxes on your BeRuby homepage have a “+” symbol (found in the bottom right area of each module) that will take you to a page where you choose four logos to display in that module. If you cannot find a site you would like to have, please let us know and we will add it for you. BeRuby is all about user choice: we want you to be able to personalize the page with whatever site you wish!

Remember that you can personalize the “weather” module with your local weather forecast. Just enter your zip code on your Full Profile page, and the weather for your city will be displayed.
                        

I have just bought online; why doesn’t the “Balance” on my account increase?

In order to earn money, two things need to happen: first, the site needs to have one or more rubies next to its logo in the BeRuby portal; second, you need to buy (or register or visit) from the company after visiting the site from a BeRuby link.

Once you have bought online, BeRuby needs to have confirmation from the store that this transaction took place… this may take from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks (depending on the merchant).
               

On my Account Page, what is the difference between “Pending Balance,” “Confirmed Balance,” and “Total Account Balance?”

Pending Balance: When you complete an online activity through BeRuby (such as buying online or registering on a site), the company will first need to tell BeRuby that this activity actually took place. When this happens, your pending balance is calculated.

Confirmed Balance: When a company which you have made a transaction with pays BeRuby, the amount is “confirmed” by the outside source, and your confirmed balance goes up. At the same time, your pending balance will decrease by the same amount.

Please note that your “Confirmed Balance” will show a zero balance until such time as the minimum threshold of $10.00 is met.

Total Account Balance: This is the total amount of money (Pending plus Confirmed) that you can expect from BeRuby.
                 

When and how do I get paid?

You can ask for the confirmed amount to be paid to you at any given time. Please note that there will be a processing cost of $2 if the amount paid to you is less than $100. After you reach the $100 threshold, the transfers are free of charge.

The initial method for payments will be via an email transfer to your PayPal account. PayPal is an online e-commerce business that allows payments to be made through the internet.

You can sign up for a PayPal account at any given time – if you do not have an account, you can sign up here. Once your money is in PayPal it is very easy to transfer to your bank account or to your credit or debit card.

How much money do you pay out?

A third of all the commissions generated by your own activity will go directly to you.

In addition to this, you will earn a sixth of all the commissions generated by your friends and by the friends of your friends. If you recommend the site to ten friends and those 10 people recommend the site to another 10, you will be earning a sixth of the commissions generated by 100 MiRuby users.
           

How much money can I earn?

The amount of money that you make will be determined by your activity on the net. If you frequently shop online, make travel bookings and register on community sites you will earn more revenues than a less active person.

Your network will also play a key role in determining how much revenues you earn. A network of 10 people inviting another 10 people will enable you to earn part of the commissions generated by 100 people. A network of 20 people inviting another 20 people will allow you to earn part of the commissions generated by 400 people!
    

How do I invite friends to my network?

Just visit the “Invite” section and write the email that you will like your friends to see; put in their email address and you are all set.

You can also copy your personalized link that you see in the “Invite section” and send that link over to your friends.

Finally, you can ask them to register and tell them to include your email address in their sign-in process.
