What do I need to do to be part of BeRuby.com and earn money?

How do I incude other sites in my homepage?

As you will see, all of the category boxes on the BeRuby.com site have a “+” symbol at the bottom. Clicking on the ‘+’ will take you to a page where you can choose the logos to display on your homepage for that category.

If you cannot find a site that you’d like to have, you can add it in the My BeRuby Links categories.

Also remember to make sure that the “weather” box is customized to your local area.
                   

I have just bought online; why doesn’t my balance increase?

Two things need to happen to earn money: first, the site needs to have rubies, indicating that BeRuby.com has a commercial agreement with it. Second, you need to buy (or register or visit) from the company, having accesed the company’s site through the link provided at BeRuby.com.

Once you have bought online, BeRuby.com needs confirmation from the store that the transaction took place. This takes an average of 2 or three days, depending on the merchant. For a few companies, the wait may be a bit longer.
                       

What is the difference between my pending and confirmed balances? Why is the confirmed balance lower?

When you complete an online activity through BeRuby.com (such as buying online or registering in a site), the merchant first informs BeRuby.com that the activity indeed took place. When this happens, your estimated account increases.

Once the company actually pays BeRuby.com the commissions generated, BeRuby.com can pay you.  This is when your confirmed balance increases.
              

When and how do I get paid?

You can request your confirmed balance to be paid to you at any time. For amounts over £100, BeRuby.com will transfer the funds free of charge. If the balance is below £100, there will be a processing fee of £2.

BeRuby.com will credit your funds into a PayPal account. PayPal is third-party company, owned by eBay. You can sign up for a PayPal account through their website at any time before requesting your BeRuby.com payment.

Once your money is in PayPal, all you have to do is to accept the payment and PayPal will forward it to your bank account or to your credit or debit card.
        

How much money do you pay out?

Just visit the “Invite” section and write the email that you would like your friends to see (there is a generic one provided and that you may use).  Type in their email address and you are all set.

You can also copy your personalized BeRuby link, also found in the “Invite” section, and send it from your personal e-mail account.  This link contains your personal code, to let us know that the user was referred by you.

BeRuby.com is a portal that you can personalise

BeRuby.com has links to many of the most popular sites on the web. You can personalise your BeRuby.com page to feature your own favourite links. Simply click on the + sign. BeRuby.com will remember your settings, which you can modify whenever you like.

BeRuby.com gives you cash back for your activity on the web

BeRuby.com has advertising agreements with all the sites that display the Ruby symbol. Unlike other portals, BeRuby.com shares the revenue generated through these agreements. Specifically, BeRuby.com gives you, the user, one-third of the advertising revenue that you generate by visiting, shopping or registering in these sites. The amount of the commission that users can earn will vary by site and will often depend on how much is purchased from the merchant. The more rubies that are displayed next to the store the larger the potential commission.

BeRuby.com also pays you for the activity of your network

BeRuby.com not only gives you cash back for your own activity, but also for the activity of the friends and contacts that you refer. When someone that you reccomend joins BeRuby.com, you will receive one sixth of all the revenues generated by that person and another sixth from of all the people that they recommend.
